Welcome to CSGH
Culion Sanitarium and General Hospital is the only general hospital in the entire Northern Palawan. The DOH Administrative Order No. 2012-0012, otherwise known as “Rules and regulations governing the new classification of hospitals and other health facilities in the Philippines”, classified CSGH as a level 1 hospital.
CSGH, despite the new mandate, continues to recognize quality and humanitarian services to the People Affected by Leprosy.
CSGH has different organized service departments and offers quality ancillary services such as a secondary-level Clinical Laboratory that possesses state-of-the-art equipment that produces reliable laboratory results, a secondary Radiology Department, and a 24/7 operating Pharmacy.

Matagumpay at buong-pusong isinagawa ang CSGH OPLAN Linis noong nakaraang Biyernes, Setyembre 25, 2026. Ang mahalagang aktibidad na ito ay patunay ng matibay na paninindigan at patuloy na pagkakaisa ng buong pamayanan sa pagtataguyod ng isang malinis, ligtas, at kaaya-ayang kapaligiran para sa lahat.
Ang tagumpay ng programang ito ay higit na pinatingkad ng aktibong pakikiisa ng ating mga dedikadong healthcare workers. Ipinapakita lamang nito na ang kanilang tungkulin at malasakit sa kapwa ay hindi nagtatapos sa loob ng mga silid-gamutan at pasilidad ng ospital. Sila ay tumatayong mga tunay na halimbawa at lider na nangunguna sa pagtiyak na ang ating komunidad ay malusog at ligtas mula sa iba't ibang uri ng sakit.
Sa aktibidad na ito, muling pinatunayan ng CSGH na ang tunay na pangangalagang pangkalusugan ay hindi lamang nakasalalay sa panggagamot kundi nagsisimula sa pinakapundasyon nito—ang pagkakaroon ng isang malinis at responsableng komunidad.

The Culion Sanitarium and General Hospital (CSGH) held its weekly Flag Assembly on September 28, 2026, hosted by the Procurement Unit and led by Dr. Neal Vincent L. Torre, MD, DPBO, Acting Chief of Medical Professional Staff.
This week’s highlights:
Sagip Saka & Procurement – Strengthening partnerships with local farmers and fisherfolk as CSGH prepares for 2027 compliance, with support from the Municipal Agriculture Office.
Improving ER Services – Staffing, referrals, laboratory follow-ups, EMR limitations, and proper management of OPD follow-up patients were among the identified opportunities to improve turnaround time.
Stronger Quality Systems – As CSGH prequalifies for the Level II Star Award, everyone is tasked to prepare for the upcoming assessment on October.
Health & Wellness – successful conduction of Oplan Linis, and Zumba activity.
🎉 126th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary – As part of the CSC Celebration, the Human Resource Management Unit (HRMU) presented the 126th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary and invited every CSGH employee to share their personal commitment by writing on the Commitment Wall—a simple but meaningful reminder of our shared responsibility to serve with integrity and dedication.
👨👩👧👦 Kainang Pamilya Mahalaga Day – Celebrating the strength of family support, connection, and togetherness.
Observance of World Rabies Day - September 28, Ms. Dianne L. Boyles, RN – Public Health Nurse shared this year’s theme, “Stronger Together,”. CSGH joins the call for collective action through responsible pet ownership, animal vaccination, proper wound care, and immediate consultation after animal bites.
Together, we plan better, serve faster, and care more, one CSGH, one mission, for every patient.

KILALANIN ANG MGA SINTOMAS NG TUBERCULOSIS
Ang isang taong posibleng may TB ay kadalasang nakakaramdam ng alinman sa mga pangunahing sintomas na umaabot nang dalawang linggo o higit pa. Kabilang dito ang ubo na hindi nawawala, hindi maipaliwanag na paglalagnat, hindi maipaliwanag na pagbaba ng timbang o pamamayat, at labis-labis na pagpapawis sa gabi.
Kung nararanasan mo o ng iyong mahal sa buhay ang mga palatandaang ito, huwag mag-atubiling magpacheck-up agad sa pinakamalapit na pasilidad ng kalusugan.
Ang maagang pagtukoy sa mga sintomas ng TB ay mahalaga upang agad na makapagsimula ng libreng gamot at maiwasan ang pagkalat nito sa pamilya at komunidad.
