Welcome to CSGH
Culion Sanitarium and General Hospital is the only general hospital in the entire Northern Palawan. The DOH Administrative Order No. 2012-0012, otherwise known as “Rules and regulations governing the new classification of hospitals and other health facilities in the Philippines”, classified CSGH as a level 1 hospital.
CSGH, despite the new mandate, continues to recognize quality and humanitarian services to the People Affected by Leprosy.
CSGH has different organized service departments and offers quality ancillary services such as a secondary-level Clinical Laboratory that possesses state-of-the-art equipment that produces reliable laboratory results, a secondary Radiology Department, and a 24/7 operating Pharmacy.

Leprosy Control Week 2026
Sa bisa ng Presidential Proclamation 467 (1965), na nagtatakda ng ika-apat na linggo ng Pebrero bilang Leprosy Control Week.
Kaugnay nito ay nagkaroon ng health awareness activity para sa mga kawani ng Culion Sanitarium and General Hospital sa pangunguna ni Dr. Edward Gallado – Medical Division/Infection Prevention Control Unit Head bilang tagapagsalita na ginanap ngayong Pebrero 23, 2026.
Binigyang-diin ang maagang pagkilala sa sintomas ng leprosy para sa mas epektibong gamutan. Maiwasan ang komplikasyon, deformities o kapansanan dulot ng leprosy. Pinaalala din ang kahalagahan ng tamang impormasyon upang maiwasan ang stigma at diskriminasyon.
Sama-sama nating itaguyod ang laban kontra leprosy!
Kung may mga sintomas, mangyaring magpakonsulta agad sa doktor.
Magbahagi ng kaalaman, magbigay ng suporta, at iwaksi ang diskriminasyon!

Isang mahalagang tagumpay ang naitala ng Culion Sanitarium and General Hospital sa matagumpay na pagsasagawa ng kauna-unahang laparoscopic nephrectomy sa ating institusyon.
Ang pasyente ay isang 61 taong gulang na lalaki mula sa Culion, Palawan, na unang na-evaluate sa pamamagitan ng Telemedicine at nabigyan ng payo na sumailalim sa laparoscopic nephrectomy.
Ang nasabing minimally invasive procedure ay matagumpay na isinagawa ni Dr. Noel T. Borromeo, III, MIS Urology Consultant at Dr. Aizel Jane Lim, Anesthesiologist kasama ang mga kawani ng Operating Room.
Ang makasaysayang tagumpay na ito ay naisakatuparan sa ilalim ng pamumuno nina Dr. Maria Regina M. Calimag, MCC I at Dr. Neal Vincent L. Torre, CMPS / Telemedicine Unit Head, na patuloy na nagsusulong ng makabago at dekalidad na serbisyong medikal para sa ating mga pasyente.
Patunay ito ng patuloy na pag-unlad ng CSGH sa larangan ng makabagong operasyon at telemedicine — mas pinalalapit ang serbisyong espesyalista sa ating komunidad.

No dental services from February 23–27, 2026 as our doctors will be attending a training and participating in official business related to the Oral Health Summit.
