Welcome to CSGH
Culion Sanitarium and General Hospital is the only general hospital in the entire Northern Palawan. The DOH Administrative Order No. 2012-0012, otherwise known as “Rules and regulations governing the new classification of hospitals and other health facilities in the Philippines”, classified CSGH as a level 1 hospital.
CSGH, despite the new mandate, continues to recognize quality and humanitarian services to the People Affected by Leprosy.
CSGH has different organized service departments and offers quality ancillary services such as a secondary-level Clinical Laboratory that possesses state-of-the-art equipment that produces reliable laboratory results, a secondary Radiology Department, and a 24/7 operating Pharmacy.

June is Dengue Awareness Month
In observance of Dengue Awareness Month, the Culion Sanitarium and General Hospital’s Infection Prevention and Control Unit, together with the Public Health Unit, held an impactful awareness program last June 19, 2026.
Public Health Unit Assistant Head Dr. Janna Trisia Aparece gave her opening message and introduce the speaker.
Dr. Edward Gallardo, Head of Medical Division as well as the Infection Prevention and Control Unit, discussed and highlighted key facts about dengue in hospital management. His presentation was followed by an engaging talk and an interactive Q&A session with the participants.
The lay fora concluded with a call to support the Voluntary Blood Donation Program in line with the World Blood Donation Day Celebration. Ms. Maritess Layag, HEPO, discussed its importance and encouraged everyone to promote and support bloodletting activities of partner Municipal Health Office in every LGUs in BCCL Health Zone in partnership with CSGH.
Finally, heartfelt closing remarks were given by the beloved CSGH Medical Center Chief I, Dr. Maria Regina M. Calimag, DPCP, FPCCP. Her sincerity and deep care for the community were evident in her words, leaving a lasting impression on everyone present.

Matagumpay na pinangunahan ng Central Supply and Sterilization Unit (CSSU) ang ating lingguhang Flag Assembly noong Lunes, Hunyo 22, 2026. Ang Accomplishment Report ng unit ay buong-husay na iprinisenta ng Unit Head na si Ms. Jay Anne D. De Castro
Nagsimula ang ulat sa pagbabahagi ng kanilang organogram, na sinundan ng isang masusing pagsusuri sa mga datos ng filled and unfilled medical supplies, pati na ang monthly requisition per ward para sa taong 2025–2026.
Ipinakita rin sa report ang mga most requested medical supplies sa ospital. Para sa patuloy na pagpapabuti ng serbisyo, ibinahagi ni Ms. De Castro ang mga hamong kinakaharap ng unit pagdating sa 4S: Staff, Stuff, System, at Structure, gayundin ang datos ukol sa mga naipamahaging supplies at mga naibalik dahil sa isyu ng kalidad.
Matapos ang presentasyon, malugod na pinuri ng ating MCC I, Dr. Maria Regina Calimag, si Ms. De Castro para sa isang napaka-informative at data-driven na pag-uulat. Binigyang-diin din ni Dr. Calimag ang malaking improvement ng unit sa ilalim ng pamumuno ni Ms. De Castro.
Nagbigay ang ating MCC ng mahahalagang direktiba at inanunsyo rin ang mga upcoming events ng hospital, kabilang ang nalalapit na pagbisita ng mga opisyal mula sa Department of Health (DOH) at ang launching ng mga proyektong inobasyon tulad ng Tele ICU.
