Welcome to CSGH
Culion Sanitarium and General Hospital is the only general hospital in the entire Northern Palawan. The DOH Administrative Order No. 2012-0012, otherwise known as “Rules and regulations governing the new classification of hospitals and other health facilities in the Philippines”, classified CSGH as a level 1 hospital.
CSGH, despite the new mandate, continues to recognize quality and humanitarian services to the People Affected by Leprosy.
CSGH has different organized service departments and offers quality ancillary services such as a secondary-level Clinical Laboratory that possesses state-of-the-art equipment that produces reliable laboratory results, a secondary Radiology Department, and a 24/7 operating Pharmacy.

World Asthma Day 2026
Bilang pakikiisa sa paggunita ng World Asthma Day ngayong May 5, 2026, nagdaos ang Culion Sanitarium and General Hospital ng health awareness forum sa Out-Patient Department.
Ibinahagi ni Mr. Alwadi H. Kangal, RTRP- Respiratory Therapist I ng Respiratory Therapy Unit (RTU), ang mga sanhi, sintomas, mga paraan sa paggamot ng asthma at kung paano malalaman gaano kalala ang sakit.
Mga sanhi ng asthma na nabanggit ay ang mga sumusunod:
Allergen: halamang may polen (pollen), alikabok, amag, balahibo ng hayop tulad ng dumi ng ipis
Irritants: usok, malalakas na amoy, polusyon sa hangin o mga kemikal
Impeksyon sa paghinga: mga viral infection gaya ng karaniwang sipon o trangkaso
Ehersisyo: labis na pisikal na aktibidad, lalo na sa malamig o tuyong hangin
Panahon: malamig na panahon o biglaang pagbabago ng klima
Stress o matinding emosyon: matinding emosyon tulad ng pagkapagod, stress o labis na pagtawa
Mga sintomas ng ASTHMA:
Hingal (Wheezing): Parang humihip na tunog habang humihinga
Pag-ubo (Coughing): Lalo na sa gabi o sa madaling araw
Pagkakapos ng hininga (Shortness of Breath): Pakiramdam na kulang ang hangin
Paninikip ng dibdib (Chest Tightness): Pakiramdam na parang may bumibigat o sumusikip sa dibdib
Ang maagang pagtuklas sa sakit ay susi sa mas madaling gamutan. Kung may mga sintomas na mararanasan huwag mag-atubiling magpakonsulta sa isang health facility tulad ng CSGH.
