Welcome to CSGH
Culion Sanitarium and General Hospital is the only general hospital in the entire Northern Palawan. The DOH Administrative Order No. 2012-0012, otherwise known as “Rules and regulations governing the new classification of hospitals and other health facilities in the Philippines”, classified CSGH as a level 1 hospital.
CSGH, despite the new mandate, continues to recognize quality and humanitarian services to the People Affected by Leprosy.
CSGH has different organized service departments and offers quality ancillary services such as a secondary-level Clinical Laboratory that possesses state-of-the-art equipment that produces reliable laboratory results, a secondary Radiology Department, and a 24/7 operating Pharmacy.

PROTEKTAHAN ANG PAMILYA SA MALA-TRANGKASONG SAKIT NA MAY KASAMANG UBO AT SIPON O INFLUENZA-LIKE ILLNESSES
Kasabay ng pabago-bagong panahon, ang pagtaas ng kaso ng mala-trangkasong sakit na may kasamang ubo at sipon o Influenza-like Illnesses (ILIs).
Sa tamang pag-iingat, kaya nating mabawasan ang pagkalat ILIs tulad ng trangkaso. Tandaan ang mga sintomas, paraan ng pagkalat, at sundin ang mga simpleng steps para protektahan ang iyong sarili, pamilya, at komunidad laban sa ILIs.
‘Pag lumala ang sintomas o nahihirapang huminga, magpakonsulta agad sa pinakamalapit na ospital.

Pinangunahan ng sama-samang pagkilos ng CSGH workforce, tampok sa aktibidad ang aktibong pakikiisa ng ating mga healthcare workers, na naglaan ng oras at lakas upang makatulong sa pagpapanatili ng malinis, maayos, at ligtas na kapaligiran.
Ang OPLAN Linis ay higit pa sa simpleng paglilinis. Ito ay konkretong pagpapakita ng malasakit, disiplina, bayanihan, at shared responsibility sa pangangalaga ng kalusugan ng komunidad.
Sa CSGH, naniniwala tayo na ang kalusugan ay nagsisimula sa malinis at ligtas na kapaligiran. Sa bawat hakbang na sama-samang ginagawa, isinusulong natin ang isang komunidad na mas handa, mas ligtas, at mas malusog.

𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐀𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐧𝐲 𝐌. 𝐋𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞 and 𝐌𝐫. 𝐉𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐀𝐫𝐥𝐮 𝐆. 𝐏𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐚, 𝐑𝐍. Their visit provided us with a meaningful opportunity to humbly share our continuous improvements and best practices in Patient-Centeredness, Hospital Personnel, Infrastructure and Service Capability, Quality Management and Operations, and other innovative healthcare solutions.

Culion Sanitarium and General Hospital (CSGH) held its weekly Flag Assembly on October 5, 2026, hosted by the Housekeeping Unit.
Dr. Maria Regina M. Calimag, MD, DPCP, FPCCP – Medical Center Chief I, expressed her appreciation to the CSGH workforce and emphasized the importance of professionalism, accountability, preparedness, and compassionate patient service.
Highlight of the Assembly:
🏥 PATIENT CARE & SERVICE EXCELLENCE
CSGH continues to strengthen people-centered care through:
🔹 Reinforcement of customer-care standards for nurses, with lectures and activities lined up for Nurses’ Week;
🔹 Paragonimiasis awareness and health education through OPD lectures and IEC materials;
🔹 Continued emphasis on respectful patient service, conduct of regular rounds, and fulfillment of assigned duties
📚 TRAINING & PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
The hospital welcomed the 4th batch of Basic Emergency Obstetric and Newborn Care (BEmONC) participants from Northern Palawan Provincial Hospital and Taytay Rural Health Unit for a six-day training program aimed at strengthening emergency maternal and newborn care competencies.
🎓CSGH also recognized employees who completed their master’s and doctoral degrees, celebrating their commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
🧹 CLEANLINESS, SAFETY & ACCOUNTABILITY
The importance of a clean, safe, and orderly workplace was reinforced through:
🔹 Recognition of personnel who participated in last week’s Oplan Linis activity
🔹 Proper management of near-expiry medicines
🔹 Conduct of proper inventory of supplies and medicines
🏗️ DEVELOPMENT, INFRASTRUCTURE & PREPAREDNESS
The 2027 development agenda was also discussed, including equipment and infrastructure investment projects, recalibration of the five-year development plan, and review of filled and unfilled plantilla positions.
The hospital is likewise preparing contingency measures for fuel and water supply amid expected El Niño conditions that may persist into early 2027.
QUALITY IMPROVEMENT & UPCOMING ACTIVITIES
CSGH is preparing for the Star Awards validation, upcoming ISO surveillance, chemical toxicology training in Coron, and other hospital programs.
The hospital also anticipates the celebration of its 17th Anniversary as a General Hospital on November 19, 2026.
As CSGH moves forward, every employee plays an important role in building a hospital that is cleaner, safer, more prepared, and more compassionate.
