Welcome to CSGH
Culion Sanitarium and General Hospital is the only general hospital in the entire Northern Palawan. The DOH Administrative Order No. 2012-0012, otherwise known as “Rules and regulations governing the new classification of hospitals and other health facilities in the Philippines”, classified CSGH as a level 1 hospital.
CSGH, despite the new mandate, continues to recognize quality and humanitarian services to the People Affected by Leprosy.
CSGH has different organized service departments and offers quality ancillary services such as a secondary-level Clinical Laboratory that possesses state-of-the-art equipment that produces reliable laboratory results, a secondary Radiology Department, and a 24/7 operating Pharmacy.

March: Rabies Awareness Month
Bilang pagdiriwang ng Rabies Awareness Month nagdaos ng health awareness noong March 27, 2026 na ibinahagi ni Ms. Maritess Q. Layag- Health Education and Promotion Officer ng Culion Sanitarium and General Hospital - Public Health Unit sa mga pasyente at bantay sa Out-Patient Department ng ospital.
Layunin ng aktibidad na ito na madagdagan ang kaalaman at mapaalalahanan ang mga pasyente at bantay sa panganib na dulot ng rabies. Naibahagi din ang mga impormasyon kung papaano makaiwas sa sakit, agarang lunas, pagpapakonsulta sa doctor at pagpapabakuna sa Animal Bite Treatment Center (ABTC) na available sa CSGH.
Ang pagiging responsableng tagapag-alaga ng mga hayop ay malaki ang maitutulong para maiwasan pagkakaron ng sakit tulad ng rabies.

In a field often filled with tough uniforms and even tougher expectations, Ms. Michelle Daniel stands tall as CSGH’s only Lady Security Guard. Both literally and figuratively a Natatanging Juana among her peers in the Security Unit — a testament that strength has no gender.
Like a "rose among the thorns", she brings courage, grace, and determination to a role traditionally dominated by men. Every day, she guards not only our spaces but also the idea that women can stand strong, hold their ground, and thrive in any field they choose.
With sharp vigilance, steady courage, and a fearless spirit, Ms. Michelle shows that in today’s modern world, women are not just part of the workforce—they are a "force to be reckoned with" .
This National Women’s Month, we celebrate the woman who proves that anything a man can do, a woman can do just as well.

Marso: Colon Cancer Awareness Month
Bilang pakikiisa sa pagdiriwang ng Colon Cancer Awareness Month, nagdaos ang CSGH ng health awareness forum noong March 27, 2026 sa Out-Patient Department.
Ibinahagi ni Dr. Ruby Cerdeno, FPSGS, FPCS, Medical Specialist III at General Surgeon, ang kahalagahan ng maagang pagtuklas at regular screening gaya ng colonoscopy upang maiwasan at maagapan ang colon cancer.
Sa Pilipinas, kabilang ang colon cancer sa mga pangunahing sanhi ng pagkamatay dahil sa cancer, lalo na sa mga edad 50 pataas.
Tandaan: Ang maagang pagtuklas sa sakit ay susi sa mas madaling gamutan at mas mataas na tsansang makaligtas.
